• Slipknot, What's Next?

  I was in my room when I found out the news about Paul. Everyone blew up my phone with texts about it, asking me if I was okay or not. To be honest, I couldn't come out from under my blankets for a day. I woulda ripped everything I had on my walls off. I feel better about the fact that I was wearing a Metallica shirt that day, or I would have ripped my Slipknot shirt off of my back...

  Why the rage over such a tragedy? Because I have been a Maggot since I was 7 years old, (I'm 19 now) and Paul had a wife, loving friends, an amazing band, an awesome loving fan base.... AND A BABY ON THE WAY. You'd figure anyone who had that much of a support system would do anything in their power not to do drugs for fear that they may overdose. We all care for, and love him very much. But you have to think, this wasn't like Dimebag's death. Dimebag was murdered. Paul did it to himself. I love him, and Slipknot more than anything, but sometimes reality is the hardest thing you have to admit to yourself.

  I do grieve over what will become of Slipknot. For Paul Gray, & Shawn Crahan were the 2 major founding memebers of Slipknot, and have always said that no matter the circumstances, they would never allow "outsiders" to play in Slipknot. Outsiders being those who have not been there the 10 years this band has made music and changed lives.... I'm scared to see what happens next.....

  I only read the first page... Yes, the first page may only be 2 paragraphs, but it sucked. I immediately burned the book after reading the first page... It's a terrible story, and I hate the two so-called "actors" they chose for the main roles...
